Open Source At AWS

Overview

Since its inception, AWS has been the best place for customers to build and run open source software in the cloud. We believe that open source is good for everyone and we are committed to bringing the value of open source to our customers, and the operational excellence of AWS to open source communities.

Join this three part webinar series to learn how you can leverage OpenSearch for Security Analytics, hear about a new open source project allowing you to build next generation authorisation into your programs, and dive deep into machine learning model development using open source inference serving software. By joining live, you’ll have the opportunity to have your questions answered by AWS experts, or you can register to be sent the recordings after the event.

Agenda

Time (AEST) Session
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Leveraging OpenSearch for Security Analytics

OpenSearch Security Analytics is a specialised security information and event management (SIEM) solution designed to protect businesses and organisations from various security threats. By seamlessly integrating with OpenSearch, it enables users to investigate, detect, analyse, and respond to potential risks such as data exposure and cyber attacks. This comprehensive solution offers automatic installation with any OpenSearch distribution. Join this session as we delve into the powerful features of OpenSearch Security Analytics. Through a comprehensive demo, you will gain insights into defining detection parameters, generating alerts, and mounting effective responses to security threats. By leveraging these capabilities, you can elevate your organisation’s security posture and ensure the protection of its online operations.

Next generation Authz with Cedar

Authorisation is one of the foundational needs when building your applications and services. Making sure you are able to correctly and reliably grant or deny access to your application resources is critical. Yet this is still one of the hardest things we have to do as developers. In this session, we cover a new open source project from AWS called Cedar that helps you solve this problem and build next generation authorisation into your applications. We provide a quick overview in authorisation first, before looking at Cedar and then showing you with a simple demo how you can begin to use Cedar to help you simplify authorisation for your applications.

Scaling LLM/GenAI deployment with NVIDIA Triton on Amazon EKS

Triton is open source inference serving software that simplifies the inference serving process and provides high inference performance. This session explores the synergy of NVIDIA Triton and AWS EKS for efficient, large-scale machine learning model deployment. We discuss how Triton Inference Server standardizes machine learning inferencing across various deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, ONNX, and TensorRT to streamline GenAI/LLM model deployment.
